Phonemic awareness - What is the last letter of the object in the picture?

Objective

Program helps to analyse the location of the letter in the word.

Using the familiar pictures the child recognizes the location of the letter in the word, which is the basic knowledge when reading and writing. It is the stimulation factor when programming the letters.

Child becomes aware of the succession of letters and through hearing will analyse the first letter in the word, last letter in the word or letters inbetween them.

How to work with the program

A picture will be displayed with letters and depending on settings the computer will say „What is the last letter of the object in the picture? Point at it.“.

When the correct letter is pointed, the word will be displayed under the picture.

Spoken text may be displayed in a "callout" on the working area.
