Programs Fono3 - How to start? - Guide to begin
Thank you for deciding to use our online Fono3 programs. Programs are primarily meant for training and therapy of communication skills, however they can also be used for activities and training of those who do not require special attention (training of reading and writing for small children, training of attention and memory for elderly ...).
Areas
We devided the programs into five areas according to main focus:
- reading
- writing
- speech
- attention
- memory
From both therapeutical and diagnostic views these categories overlap and it is for each user to decide how to use the individual programs.
Global settings
Global settings (also the application settings) can be accessed thriugh the link "Settings". Global settings are common to all programs and they cover:
- display style - standard, for children, for visually impaired, for autists
- program selection - for individual work, for work with the assistant, for work with the therapeut. Individual programs are accordingly distinguished also by a colour in the top left corner (green, blue, red)
- number of repetitions during the testing
- selection of assistant application
Application settings
Settings of each program can be individually changed. Application settings (same as global settings) are accesible through the link "Settings". The application settings are specific to each program and allow for changes of wide array of properties - from the most simple to very complex.
It is optimal to start using such settings that the client is successsful and gradually increase the difficulty. This way the client will not be disappointed by initial failures.
Profiles
We recommend to use the profiles for work with multiple clients. This will save the effort to change the settings when changing between the clients and ensure the continuity in work with the client (read more here).
